Celebrity Style: the good, the bad and the what were you thinking!

I don't know about you, but I just can't get enough celebrity gossip, fashion and er, style faux pas. When I'm not charming our clients I love pouring over the pages of the endless selection of magazines in the salon. Here is my latest look at the good, the bad and the what were you thinking?

The Good
Beckham's perfectly coiffed quiff ticks all the boxes.

We love Fearne's relaxed look for work

I'm not normally a fan of the Swift one, but this pretty summer dress is beee-yootiful.
I love the shape and the print - good job!  (shame about the shoes mind.)

Bond Girls Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe looking smoking hot alongside
Daniel Craig and Ola Rapace at a photocall for the 23rd Bond Film 'Skyfall'

The Bad

 Tulisa. Headband. Enough said.

Mariah - are you going skydiving love? Skiing?Oh no, you're performing in Austria.  Not a good look.

What Were You Thinking?

Controversial teenage bride Courtney Stodden. Shopping. In Target.
Yep, just popped out to the shops.

Hero Product Giveaway: Moroccan Oil

Moroccanoil - hair heaven in a bottle.

Now, as you'd imagine being the Medusa Mascot, I spend a lot of time in the salons primping and preening, meeting and greeting and mainly being fussed over by our lovely clients. My life is sweet.

I know what's hot and what's not. I know what's trending in the hair and beauty worlds and I'm here to share it. Introducing: Hero Product. This is a new blog feature where I fill you in on the latest, greatest and most popular products, that will give you the results and fabulous hair you dream of.

At this time of year we see a lot of dry and damaged locks. Winter takes its toll and tons of clients come in to see us desperate for a remedy to transform and repair their frazzled tresses. With Summer just around the corner (fingers crossed), it's time to sort them out.

Enter Moroccanoil. If you haven't heard of it yet, it's about to change your life. Okay, maybe only your hair and blow drying time, but that's a big deal right? It's is a versatile treatment that our clients and stylists adore.

Its nourishing and non-greasy formula can be used as a leave-in conditioner before blow drying or as a styling and finishing tool. It will actually reduce your drying time, which is an absolute dream - who else hates blow drying as much as I do?

I have a bottle of Moroccanoil (RRP £12.85) to giveaway to one of my lucky fans! To be in with a chance of winning this little baby, comment below (by clicking on 'comments' - remember to leave your email address) telling us why your hair needs it most and then share my blog on your facebook page. Good luck!

Coachella: Weekend 1 Round Up

Nicole Ritchie

Kate Bosworth & Michael Polish

Lea Michelle and Lauren Conrad

Alexa Chung

Alessandra Ambrosio
Whitney Port

Did you spot the hair trend? Sexy, tousled, boho waves were definitely what the hairdresser ordered at the oh-so-cool Californian festival Coachella. The A list (and the Z List) flock from the four corners of the globe to rough it VIP-style every year. Sun-kissed girls, cool bands, hot celebs... who needs any more reasons to love it.

Kate Bosworth, Nicole Ritchie, Lauren Conrad and Lea Michele were rocking natural looking waves that completed their frivolous festival look and screamed I-don't-do-my-hair-it-just-looks-like-this-when-I-wake-up. To get the look, try using Sebastian's Micro Web Fiber to add texture and a touchable movement to hair at any length. Available in all Medusa salons (£15).

I don't know about you but I'm not too impressed with the hair or outfits so far. There were some really bad looks (check out Paris Hilton and Vanessa Hudgens). Whitney and Alexa were looking cool as always, although I'm not sold on the cycling shorts trend. Luckily there are two weekends of Coachella this year so fingers crossed the next one brings us some more exciting Summer inspiration.

My worst dressed of the weekend has to go to Florence Welch. Flo, what were you thinking? You'll have to google it to see her outfit!

Who do you think has the best look?
