Coco the journalist

Hello my Medusa friends!

I have had a bit of a sabbatical and have decided on a new role within the Medusa salons, I am now the resident journalist! Yes, I will be spending my days quizzing the styling team and getting to know their deepest darkest secrets, which I will then post for all of you lovely people to see!

Don't say I'm not good to you!

My first interview is with the dashing Ryan McCreadie from our Bread Street Salon.
Enjoy!

Coco xx

Name: Ryan McCreadie

Title: Senior stylist

1.What are your biggest loves?

My other half Louise and my job – it’s hard to call it a job because I genuinely love coming to the salon everyday.

2. What are your greatest dislikes?

When people push past you and say sorry. The phrase is excuse me and comes first!

3. When and what was your happiest moment in life so far?

Working at the Henry Holland show at London Fashion Week with the Sebastian Cult team! I had to keep pinching myself.

4. How do you like to unwind?

A nice bottle of Innis and Gunn beer, the other half and a good film.

5. What’s your most embarrassing moment?

I cringe even thinking about this - pretending to be on the phone to someone then it started ringing! Total schoolboy error.

6. What do you consider your naughtiest guilty pleasure?

After a hard session at the gym going to the shops and buying a litre tub of chocolate ice cream and scoffing the whole thing.

7. What’s your scariest moment ever?

Competing at the Commonwealth games when I was 16 walking out into the open ceremony and looking at all the people watching us walking round the stadium.

8. How did you get started in hairdressing?

One of my friends worked in a salon and I just needed a job – didn’t expect to love it as much as I do.

9. What’s the most bizarre fact about yourself?

I like eating raw spaghetti!

10. What’s your most expensive/lavish blowout?

My social life at London Fashion Week – we were out networking (partying) every night and the pennies just disappeared.

11. What’s your most fabulous celebrity moment?

Meeting Amelle from the Sugababes (although I didn’t know who she was).

12. What’s your proudest ever purchase?

It’s a simple one but I love it would be have to be my trilby hat from Topman. I just love it!
